The Nintendo Wii makes it debut at Peltgrande's House

I am doing some major spring cleaning and house repairs in getting the house ready for sale. Paul came over to help me, and he got a hold of 2 Nintendo Wii's recently, so I bought one. Absolutely love it. The controls are a blast, and it is playing video games in a whole new way. My love for Nintendo has returned.
We played tennis, raced on cows, bowled and snowboarded.
Next on my game list is Zelda, which is fantabulous from what I've heard. You get to shoot the bow using your controller and nunchuk.
What is really sWiit is that the Wii is fully backward compatible with the Nintendo GameCube and includes four built-in GameCube controller ports and two GameCube memory card slots, and an SD slot for additional memory storage. Wii also features Nintendo's Virtual Console, a library of games from the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and Turbografix-16 systems. Games can be purchased and downloaded over Nintendo's online Wii Store, where they are stored on the Wii's system memory or SD card. Chad Fields, this means you can have your cake and eat it too. You get a Wii, can still play all your Gamecube games on the Wii, and can get Golden Axe Sega Genesis style. I am drooling thinking about all this. Mmmmmmmmm.

Yeah, pretty much my favorite pastime these days is spending too much of my time playing games...

Yeah, you asked me how'd I get music on my page. Well, you go to imeem.com, it should have a search engine there. find out which song you like, then there should be a javascript there (make sure you press the 'play instantly' box) :)- Carol

I got to play a Wii over at a friend's house last week. It was flat out fun. The graphics maybe aren't as great as xbox 360 or PS3, but it is just more fun to play.

Be sure to be careful with your new *sigh* Wiimote, I hear they break pretty easily.

These are for you Travis and your new toy.

"Here's a tip from a long-time gamer: if a new console is continually mentioning how well it can do fishing games, it might not be designed with hard-core gamers in mind."

hahaha. That was funny.

In a droid like voice: "I just love Nintendo. They are the absolute best."

Just for documentation: If I die flying in the AirCare helicopter next month, Randy Clark, R1 Orthopaedics, has rights to my Wii.

Nicole, you still get the insurance policy.

Travis,

The music. Seriously. Cut it out. Nobody likes checking a blog and suddenly getting accosted by way too loud Bran Van or whatever that is.

Actually, I hear you. I was already sick of it too. It is a cool idea, but the volume starts up way too loud and it doesn't stay on when you go to the comments, which is pointless for listening to a song then.

I changed it to be set so you have to choose a song and start it rather than automatic start up. My goal is to get SuperChad and Phil's Phonograph on there so people can listen to them, and I can listen to them anywhere at work.

On a side note, going to 300 in 3 hours....

Ha! They must be TWiins!

Or Wiiners, more like.

I could do this all day, and everyone of them would be just as bad.
