Beck - Clap Hands - Live on SNL

Here's Beck performing "Clap Hands" on Saturday Night Live.

I really thought this was an incredibly original performance where Beck's band is seated at a dinner table playing bottles, plates and glasses as percussive instruments, puppets mirroring the show and some break out harmonica playing. This is maybe the most enjoyable performance I've ever seen on Saturday Night Live. Plus I'm biased, because I think Beck rules. Check it out.

That was a great performance.

"I drive to San Francisco, death to disco, take my shirt off."

I don't know what it means, but hell yes.

Hell Yes. Puppets, Beck and Turkey. What else could you ask for?

Beck keeps turning it out for us. I still am not sure what getting crazy with the cheez whiz is, but I am still listening.

awesome video. it's kinda weird, whenever i think of beck, i automatically think of chad, cuz one time when we were gaming, it was right around the time "Where it's At" had come out. and chad was always singin it.

That was great! I may have to steal it for my blog!!!! (By the way, I'm a total blog content leach.)
Anyway, what happened to your myspace, Dr. T?

My myspace account got messed up, and in trying to fix it I ended up deleting it. Long story, but I didn't use it that much anyway. I probably will put one back up sometime, but like the blogging for now.

Check out this video on youtube. It's not the actual video for this song but I think you might like it. They really get me with the bunny rabbits every time.
If the link doesn't work just go to the site and search death cab for cutie I'll follow you and it will be the first one.

I just found out that Beck's a raging Scientologist....wtf?

I guess you have to look past the artist and focus on the art, but man that sucks.

Alien souls trapped in humans causing negative emotions... what could be more Beck than that?

Tony- like the youtube vid. yeah, I was pretty surprised to find out Beck was a scientologist too. Just doesn't seem to fit.
