Dragon Warrior and Little Superstar

I was tired of looking at the same thing on my blog, and I came across this. Ok, so I watched this and I was immediately taken back to the pleasant memories of sitting in my dorm watching Cory play video games. It unfortunately is in a different language, but you still get the good 'ol Dragon Warrior feeling of 8-bit RPG's. Also, for anyone that has battled a slime, man, they can be slippery. Especially the metal slimes. And for everyone who hasn't played Dragon Warrior....

Also, I had to repost this. It is still my favorite. I can watch it over and over.

What happens when you play the flute?

As you may have heard the Golem likes music, it puts him to sleep. Especially fairy music. It is four steps south of the bath in Kol. Search there to get it. Then, when you fight Golem, use it and the Golem will fall asleep. Just start attacking him as he sleeps. If he wakes up, use the flute again. Even with the flute Golem is hardcore, but the flute helps an awful lot.

That was funny Brando. I hadn't seen that before. By the way, how do you post links in comments like that?

Yes, defeating the Golem is the only way to get into Cantlin, the city in the south that has the flame sword and magic armor for sale. If you don't have the flute fuggettabout fighting the Golem, it will stomp you. Even with the flute he's difficult.

My question is, how does Cantlin maintain its economy when the Golem just beats the hell out of anyone approaching? I would assume he would levy some sort of tax or toll to get into town, but no, he just kicks your ass!

That is a really good question about Cantlin and their economy. I would guess that they must be self sustaining, or a certain number of people have some sort of medallion that allows you to pass the Golem. Maybe a Medallion of Golem Don't Beat My Ass. That would work.
