Canoe trip to Lake McBride

Chad and I loaded up his canoe on the Explorer the other day and headed out to Lake McBride for some canoeing around the lake. It was a perfect morning for it, sunny, calm and lots of critters around the lake for us to look at.
We got really close to a couple of blue herons like this one.

Looks like you guys had a really romantic time.

Remember your Blue Heron sword when you gotta fight the Halfmen!

...romantic doesn't fully describe the moments Chad and I shared there....

SO, when you are fighting Halfmen, I think you use the Blue Heron FORM, rather than sword?

Mr. Al'Thor's first sword, from his father, had a heron inscribed on it, which he used to kill a halfman in Book 2 (before he even had the full heron skillz taught to him by Lan).

Don't parse Wheel o' Time history with ME, sonny. I knows my ta'varen.

Crap, you's right. I submit once again to your knowledge on such matters. Wasn't there also 'forms' that he practiced too? Or was that with Richard in the Wizard's First Rule (Terry Goodkind) series?
